Ex-Penang DCM Fairus pays off gov't loan
Former deputy chief minister I Mohammad Fairus Khairuddin has settled the state government loan used to purchase a Mercedes Benz.

Deputy Chief Minister I Mansor Othman said Fairus last week deposited RM109,000 into the state treasury account to settle the loan including interest.

（吉隆坡20日讯）武吉公满村民指黄燕燕是“骗子”和“老狐狸”，使到前往乌雪助选的旅游部长黄燕燕陷入尴尬局面。

武吉公满村民因不满副揆慕尤丁日前一番“山埃采金说谎论”，周二下午约2时在乌雪拦住准备前往助选的劳勿国会议员的旅游部长黄燕燕，并揶揄她是老狐狸，只会说甜言蜜语，不再是他们心目中的部长，而是一个骗子。

在黄燕燕还未抵达在新古毛新村所举行的交流茶会之前，数十名武吉公满村民已经在等候黄燕燕的到来，以便拦住后者以求后者针对山埃采金课题给予村民一个交待。他们也高唱黄燕燕助选主题曲“1234567，我的燕燕在哪里”。

当黄燕燕抵达时，场面顿时陷入混乱，武吉公满村民与黄燕燕在外僵持约25分钟，让黄燕燕无法进入交流会会场。村民不断大喊她为老狐狸，爱说甜言蜜语部长，更揶揄她像老狐狸一样奸诈，被村民大骂后依然能保持笑脸迎人，这就是所谓的政治人物惯有的作风。

黄燕燕试图平复村民的心情，并要求村民给她五分钟解释，却不得要领。当她解释不到两分钟时，就被村民打断，场面再次陷入混乱，村民更不断揶揄她为老狐狸。

无论如何，黄燕燕依然没有亲口说出接见他们的承诺，不过她的秘书在为她解围时，表示部长会接见他们，并会尽快安排卫生部及环境部官员前往该地了解情况。

而后，虽然黄燕燕已进入交流茶会会场，他们还是不断的吵闹，高喊“她曾是他们心目中的部长，曾经投她一票，不过现在是骗子，让他们有家归不得”。

丁福南：火箭执政后打压言论　埋怨媒体不重视民政

（北海25日讯）槟州民政党主席拿督丁福南表示，自民政党在2年前全国大选没有取得任何议席之后，即开始不受到报章的重视，新闻不是登得很小就是 完全没有刊登。

阿力夏今早11时前往北海巴眼达南的槟州邮政局邮寄贺年卡时，向记者如此表示。

他说，自2004年他担任诗布朗再也州议员以来，就从不间断的在各佳节如开斋节，屠妖节及农历新年期间，都会邮寄贺卡予相关的选民。许多选民都会珍惜其贺卡，甚至还有一位华裔妇女向他致谢，因为连其孩子都不曾寄贺卡予她这名母亲，因此他打算长期寄贺卡予所有的选民。
